Armenia police presented information about the clashes of the protest shares with law enforcement officers in the center of Yerevan on June 3, Armenia Today.
According to data, as a result of investigative measures, the procession participants tried to break through the police stiff at the intersection of the streets of Pereshaana and Demirchyan, not obeying the legal requirements of the police. In particular, the participants in the procession applied violence against police officers, throwing them with stones, metal rods, bottles and other objects.
“As a result, more than 40 police officers received bodily injuries, some of them are in stationary treatment. As of the initiated criminal case as of 16:00 on June 4, 13 people were detained,” the Yerevan police said.
