The issue of expanding the air communication between Tajikistan and the united Arab Emirates (UAE) was the topic of negotiations of the head of the Civil Aviation Agency of Tajikistan Habibullo Nazarzod and the General Director of the Civil Aviation Administration of the UAE Saifa Muhammad Alsuvidi. The Tajik media was promised about this with reference to the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The meeting was held in Abu Dhabi as part of the International Civil Aviation Symposium (Global Implement Support Symposium).
The parties discussed the activation of flights on the routes of Dushanbe – Abu Dhabi and Dushanbe – Sharjah, which would strengthen business and tourist relations between countries.
The heads of institutions also considered the possibility of opening freight air transportation between the two countries.
In addition, Habibullo Nazarzoda held negotiations with the general director of Air Arabia and the regional director of Wizz Air, during which the parties exchanged views on the development of new routes and attracting foreign investment in Tajik civil aviation.
The Tajik Civil Aviation Agency stated that meetings with representatives of Arab countries were aimed at developing air communication, improving transport accessibility and strengthening cooperation in the aviation sphere.
