One of the key events was the opening of the power line “Datka – SOGD” with a capacity of 500 square meters. The solemn launch of the object was held in a video conference format.

Electrolyte connected the energy systems of the two countries and became part of the international CASA-1000 project aimed at the supply of electricity from Central Asia to South Asia.

The project provides for the export of excess electricity generated in the summer in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, to Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Its implementation is carried out with the support of the World Bank, Islamic Development Bank, EBRD and other international financial organizations.

It is noted that the commissioning of the power line “Datka – SOGD” will increase the throughput of the regional energy system and reduce the loss when transmitting energy.
