Dushanbe And Riyadh Signed An Agreement On Preparation Of Diplomats

The Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan and the Institute of Diplomatic Research of Saudi Arabia signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of diplomatic education. The document provides for the exchange of teachers, joint curricula and annual internships. This was announced by the information portal “Avest”.

The meeting was held on April 23 in Riyadh.

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Minister Tajikistan Farrukh Sharifzoda held negotiations with the rector of the institute Dr. Mushabbab al-Koktani.

The parties discussed the training of young specialists and advanced training of diplomats.

The Tajik side emphasized the importance of the exchange of experience.

The Saudi side expressed its readiness to expand courses for Tajik diplomats, especially in the areas of strategic communications and negotiation skills.

Partnership strengthening

The signing of the Agreement was a continuation of a sustainable dialogue between Tajikistan and Saudi Arabia, whose relations in recent years demonstrate progressive development.

Er-Riyad considers Dushanbe as an important partner in Central Asia, especially in the context of joint efforts to ensure stability, the fight against extremism and the development of humanitarian ties. Visits at a high level, agreements in the field of investment, energy and education indicate a growing strategic interest between the two countries.

The new initiative in the field of preparation of diplomats reflects the desire of the parties to deepen institutional contacts and create a stable personnel base for long -term political and economic cooperation.
