Tajik President Emomali Rahmon accepted in Dushanbe as deputy chairman of the government, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov.
According to the press service of the head of the Tajik state, the parties discussed issues of strategic partnership of the two countries, including cooperation in the industrial sector.
Rachmon expressed satisfaction with the level of bilateral cooperation of Tajikistan and Russia, as well as relations of our countries within the framework of international and regional organizations.
A wide range of issues of interaction between the two countries in promising trade and economic areas, especially industry and implementation of large investment projects, active cooperation through the creation of industrial parks in free economic zones, was also discussed.
One of the promising and fruitful directions of relations was called cooperation in the field of mining, metallurgical, oil refinery, electrical, textile, food, pharmaceutical industries and in the production of building materials.
The importance of creating joint ventures in the textile industry, a single production chain, the development of the cotton, skin and wool processing sector with the involvement of Russian investments and technologies.
The interlocutors held a fruitful conversation on other topics, representing mutual interest.
