Tajik President Emomali Rahmon expressed gratitude to the CSTO countries to support the decision to approve the targeted interstate program of the organization to strengthen the Tajik-Afghan border.
This was said during a GA meeting of the Great Security Council of the Organization of the Organization of the Collective Security Treaty in Astana.
The President of Tajikistan drew the attention of the meeting participants on the negative impact of the exacerbation of the regional and international military-political climate on the CSTO member states,
The head of state said that “all issues of today’s agenda reflect the current realities and we support the adoption of the relevant decisions on them.”
Emomali Rahmon wished success to the future presidency of Kyrgyzstan in the CSTO. He expressed Tajikistan’s readiness to closely interact with a neighboring country and provide comprehensive assistance in the implementation of the planned chairmanship plans.
