According to Haqqin.az, the Republican Center for the Seismological Service at the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan (Nana) has informed that the epicenter of the earthquake of magnitude 5.8 is located 82 km south and southwest of Makhachkala in the Republic of Dagestan of the Russian Federation.
