The Board of Governors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) approved the suspension of access to Russia and Belarus to the Finance of the Organization, reported on the Office website.
“The Board of Governors of the EBRD approved the introduction of harsh restrictive measures towards Russia and Belarus, having suspended the access of both countries to their finances and expertise,” the message.
It is also noted that neither in Russia, nor in Belarus there can be projects with the financial participation of a bank or activities within technical cooperation. The organization reserves the right to suspend or terminate the sample of funds for current projects.
