Azerbaijan’s GDP growth in January of the current year amounted to 5.8%, the State Committee on Statistics.
According to statistics, the nominal volume of Azerbaijan’s GDP in January amounted to 9 billion 257.6 million manat.
The growth in the oil and gas sector was 0.6%, in the non-oil sector – 8.2%.
In the structure of GDP, the industry accounted for 54.4%, trade and repair of vehicles – 8.4%, transport and warehousing – 6.6%, construction – 3%, rural and forestry, fish farming – 2, 4%, the sector of information and communication is 1.4%, to the sphere of placement of tourists and catering facilities – 1%, on other sectors – 15.6%.
Per capita GDP in January 2022 amounted to 922.2 manat. The share of taxes in GDP amounted to 7.2%.
