Egypt demanded that Iran not attack the Israelites on the Egyptian territory, Newsru.co.il with reference to the Al-Arabi al-Jadid newspaper.
The publication, citing informed sources, reports that several consultations have been held recently between representatives of the special services of Egypt and the Islamic Republic of Iran. They discussed issues of regional security. According to information, Egyptian services warned Iranian colleagues that they would not tolerate actions directed against Israeli citizens on their territory, and will not allow themselves to draw themselves into a “conflict between Tehran and Tel Aviv.”
The publication also reports on the existence of an agreement according to which Egypt and Iran refrain from hostile actions.
