The European Investment Bank allocated the third tranche for the construction of the Bulgaria Interconnectator – Greece (IGB), including Azerbaijani gas to Bulgaria, reports Natural Gas World.
According to information, the third tranche in the amount of 30 million euros is isolated after checking the bank of the implementation of the gas pipeline project. It is reported that the total amount of EIB loan for the construction of the interconnectator will be 110 million euros.
As part of the construction of a 182-kilometer connecting gas pipeline Greece – Bulgaria has already completed 96% of welding, 140 kilometers of pipes are connected.
In IGB gas will come from a transadriatic gas pipeline, which is designed to supply Azerbaijani gas from the Shahjeniz-2 field to European markets
