May 7 ended the second phase of elections to create a public council in the Azerigas industrial association. As reported by Haqqın.az in the press service of the union of 17 candidates submitted by civil society institutions, 11 were elected to the Council by a majority vote.
Thus, the Public Council for Azerigaz was formed in the following composition:

Note that 86.7% of representatives with the right to vote took part in repeated elections. Previously, in the course of the elections held on April 30, none of the candidates were able to gain 50 percent of votes. Therefore, the Election Commission decided on the second stage. In the second round, members of the public council from the number of candidates were elected by a majority vote.
