The Embassy of Ukraine in Ankara organized a commemorative program dedicated to the third anniversary of the conflict.
The program in which diplomatic and military representatives of many European countries in Turkey took part, the Ukrainian flag was raised and the state anthem of the country was performed.
The program was the temporary attorney in the affairs of the Embassy of Ukraine in Ankara Alexei Chernyshev, a temporary attorney in the affairs of the Polish Embassy in Ankara, Radoslav Sadovsky, the Canadian Ambassador to Ankara Kevin Hamilton and the head of the European Union (EU) to Turkey, Thomas Hans Ossovsky. < /p>
The temporary attorney in the affairs of the Embassy of Ukraine in Ankara Alexei Chernyshev honored the memory of Ukrainians who died in the war.
“We did not start this war. We are a nation that most of all wants this war to end,” he said.
According to Chernyshov, Turkish support for Ukraine is undoubtedly important.
The temporary attorney in US affairs, Sadovsky also stated that Europe has no choice but to support Ukraine, and called for the country to provide military and diplomatic support.
In addition, the Hamilton ambassador said that the support provided by Ukraine is associated with the principles of sovereignty, international law and the law of nations to self -determination.
“Nothing can be decided regarding Ukraine without Ukraine. Ukraine must determine its future, without pressure or forced compromises,” Sadovsky emphasized.
Ossovsky ambassador also noted that agreements reached without the participation of Europe and Ukraine will fail.
Ossovsky said, “if Russia is not stopped,” this will prompt other countries to start the capture of other territories.
After the performances, Christian and Muslim clergymen ascended prayers for the end of the war and establish peace.
