Over the past two days, due to the worsening of weather conditions, a snowstorm, ice, strong wind and zero visibility, 318 people were saved and evacuated, of which 62 children were rescued and evacuated from snow drifts, it follows from the text.

The population was informed about the deterioration of weather conditions and closing roads by bringing storm warning, sending SMS messages, Internet resources of the Ministry of Emergencies, territorial divisions and social networks.

EMERCOM employees are actively patrolling complex sections of roads on high cross -country ability, checking the presence of stuck cars and providing the necessary assistance. Rescuers continue to work around the clock, providing assistance to the population and ensuring security on roads.

Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Emergencies calls for citizens to observe precautions, monitor storm warnings and not go on long trips under adverse weather conditions. Residents of rural areas are recommended to refrain from long walks in conditions of weather deterioration.
