Rescuers of the Ministry of Emergencies of the Russian Federation evacuated fishermen who drifted on a torn ice in the water area of the Sea of Okhotsk in the Sakhalin Region. This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Emergencies of the Russian Federation in the Telegram channel.
“All fishermen are evacuated from the ice. A total of 139 people. 31 specialist and 17 units of equipment worked on the spot,”- follows from the message.
It is noted that 44 people were evacuated on the Mi -8 helicopter, and 65 – using crafts. The rest of the people got ashore on their own.
