Biden, who on Wednesday came to Brussels in the evening, will also take part in the “Big Seven” meeting and the European Union Summit.

In the statement of the White House, it is said that one of the main tasks of the US President during the trip is to strengthen the unity among European allies, NATO and G7 countries due to the crisis in Ukraine.

Speaking on the eve of the Summit, the NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg suggested that on Thursday NATO, in all likelihood, will decide on the increase in the armed forces on its east flank: “On land, in the air and the sea.”

For its part, the United Kingdom announced that Ukraine intends to transfer another six thousand weapons units, including anti-tank missiles.
