President of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan Emine Erdogan met with the special representative of the United Nations Secretary General (UN) on violence against children Naja Maalla M’Dzhid, UN resident in Turkey Babatundy and the representative of the UNICEF in Turkey Palo Marsha.
According to the information received from the sources in the presidential administration, Emina Erdogan met with Najat Maalla M’Dzhid, Babatunde Ahonsey and Paolo Marsch in the state guest house in the presidential complex in Ankara.
During the meeting, M’Dzhid said that the “Ambassador-Vulture” project, carried out under the auspices of Emine Erdogan and aimed at distributing the model of the service of foster families, is an example for the whole world and this system that allows children to return to the family environment is very important.
Paolo Marshchi noted that Emine Erdogan has an important leadership potential in Turkey and at the global level, and emphasized the importance of her leadership in the protection of children.
During the meeting, an exchange of views on the work done was held and the possibilities of cooperation were evaluated.
The meeting was also attended by the Minister for Family and Social Services of Turkey, Makhinur Ozdemir Goktash.
