Employees of Central Bank of Russia were recommended not to travel to USA and European Union

The leadership of the Bank of Russia sent a letter to employees with an urgent recommendation “before the special order” not to go to “unfriendly countries”, including the USA and the European Union. A copy of the letter was at the disposal of The Bell.

From the letter it follows that employees are asked to refrain from traveling “taking into account the current geopolitical situation in the world, the possible implementation of the threat of security for Russian citizens when being abroad, as well as the presence of potential risks associated with their return.” The recommendation is especially true for employees “admitted to state secrets.”

It is noted that the letter is addressed to the deputy representative of the Central Bank, members of the board of directors, the heads of structural units of the central apparatus, territorial institutions and other divisions of the Bank of Russia. Under it are signatures of the deputy chairman of the Central Bank German Zubarev and Ruslan Westerovsky.
