At the moment, 23 out of 30 countries participating in NATO have ratified the document on the entry into the Alliance of Finland and Sweden. This was announced on Thursday by General Secretary Jens Stoltenberg during the next briefing for journalists.
“The number of allies who ratified the accession of Finland and Sweden to NATO reached 23,” said Stoltenberg.
In addition, a high -ranking official emphasized that at this stage most of the countries are close to the completion of the procedure for ratification of documents on the joining of Finland and Sweden into the North Atlantic Alliance. According to him, this is the fastest process of joining the territories to the military-political bloc.
