President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that 55 thousand participants in operations to eliminate the consequences of destructive February earthquakes will be awarded state awards of Turkey.

The politician said that, according to the latest estimates, as a result of the February earthquakes in Turkey, 872 thousand residential buildings were unusable.
At 321 of the disaster zone, 781,500 tents and 77 thousand modular residential structures were installed, 50 thousand out of 57 thousand blockages of residential buildings were cleared. The blocks remaining in the southern province will also be eliminated in a short time, Erdogan assured.
The President further noted that the foundations of 47 thousand out of 113 thousand residential buildings, the construction process of which have already started, have already been laid in the distillation zone in Turkey.
The head of the Turkish state assured that the efforts to eliminate the consequences of the February disaster will continue until the complete restoration of life in the affected provinces of the country.
