Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan condemned the Senate of France for the adoption of the Anti -Azerbaijani resolution, Turkish media write.
The Turkish leader noted that this document encroaches on the sovereignty of Azerbaijan, reports Ahvalnews.
According to the President of Turkey, Azerbaijan did not claim anyone’s lands, but liberated its own territories, which Armenia occupied, despite the UN and OSCE resolutions almost 30 years ago.
“The decision made in the Parliament of France, the chairman of the Minsk group, is a complete catastrophe and scandal,” the Turkish President emphasized.
He also turned to the international public calling to respond to the actions of the French parliamentarians who adopted this resolution.
Earlier today, the Senate of France almost unanimously adopted a resolution calling for the French government and the rest of the European Union to impose sanctions against Baku.
