The “Istanbul” channel will make an important contribution to the further development of the Turkish Megapolis, said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at a meeting of the parliamentary faction of the ruling party of justice and development on Wednesday in Ankara.
According to him, within the framework of the Megaproject off the coast of the “Istanbul” channel, cities will be built with a population of 500 thousand people, which will reduce the burden on Istanbul.
