US President Joseph Biden, using the word “genocide” about the events of 1915, made a big mistake in relation to Turkey. This was stated in the administration of the President of Turkey.
“Instead of approving the claims of the Armenian diaspora, Biden was supposed to invoke to investigate these events. The United States should understand that this is a serious blow to the relations of Ankara and Washington and Biden’s statements will not remain without consequences.
Despite the statements by Biden once again, they argue that there were no genocide against Armenians and the Bayden statement did not have any legal basis, “the administration said.
Note that Earlier, President Joseph Biden used the word “genocide” in his statement in connection with the events of 1915 in the Ottoman Empire.
Recall that Armenia and the Armenian lobby claim that the predecessor of Turkey is the Ottoman Empire – allegedly performed the so-called “genocide” in 1915 against those who lived in Anatolia Armenians.
Earlier, President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that there was no genocide against Armenians in Turkey’s history. The events of 1915 need an investigation.
Turkey called on Armenia to open the archives of 1915 and create a Joint Commission for Investigating Events. But Armenia has not yet responded to the proposal of Turkey.
