Erdogan and Gutherrish discussed Ukraine, Syria and Sudan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephone conversation with UN Secretary General Antoniu Guterrish. This was reported by the Office for the Relations of the Administration of the President of Turkey.

The war between the Russian Federation and Ukraine, as well as events in Syria and Sudan, were discussed.

President Erdogan emphasized that the extension of the cross -border mechanism of delivery of humanitarian aid of Syria is of great importance.

The head of state also indicated the importance of prolonging the grain transaction. The Turkish leader expressed the readiness of Ankara to participate with the interdepartmental delegation in the activities of the working group, which will be formed in case of an agreement on the ammonia.

Regarding the situation in Sudan, President Erdogan noted that Turkey is a country that can establish a dialogue with both sides of the conflict.

The head of state announced the readiness of Turkey for cooperation with the UN and organizing peace negotiations in order to resolve the situation in Sudan.
