Erdogan announced intention of Turkey to close gaps on border with Syria

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Ankara would take new measures to eliminate terrorist threats emanating from Syria. The Turkish media write.

According to him, Turkey is going to close the gaps in the 30-kilometer zone of security on the border with Syria.

“We will take new steps to close the gaps in our 30 -kilometer security line in order to completely eliminate threats to our country in Syria,” Mr. Erdogan said in an appeal to the nation after the government meeting.
