Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, as part of a visit to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRSK), entrusted a wreath in Lefkosha to the monument to the founder of the Turkish Republic Mustafa Kemal Ataturka.
The head of the Turkish state left an entry in the book of honored guests.
“Dear Ataturk. Today we again honor your memory [in Lefkoshe], as an indicator of solidarity and unity with the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. Pride that in the elections on May 28, 2023, we once again enlisted the trust of the people of Turkey. We continue To serve not only Turkish citizens, but also to the Turkish Turks, whom we consider an integral part of the Turkish nation. We will continue to fulfill the obligations to the brothers – Turks -kipriota, ”the Erdogan’s entry says.
