The foreign policy of Turkey has always had a peaceful orientation. This was announced in his speech at the 77th General Assembly of the UN President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Erdogan added that Turkey, as a country in the very center of conflicts, is a supporter of not creating, but solving problems.
The Turkish leader added that in the Israeli-Palestinian issue, his country actively supports the principle of two states.
“In terms of solving the problem in the region and achieving a comprehensive world, there is no other way except the creation of an independent Palestinian state with the capital in Eastern Jerusalem,” he said.
