Erdogan: Developed countries use refugees as advertising

The countries of the first world do not carry the “real burden” of refugees, and some use “a couple of hundred of the adopted refugees as advertising.” This was stated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in a video message to the conference on the topic of a global migration crisis organized by the efforts of the Inter -Parliamentary Union in Istanbul.

“The real burden of the problem of migration and refugees does not fall on developed countries with a strong voice, but on countries such as ours, which are neighbors of crisis regions,” Erdogan quotes TRT.

The Turkish leader also criticized countries that only use refugees as advertising, while taking no responsibility for the decision of the deepening humanitarian crises.
