Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in a conversation with journalists along the way from Kiev to Ankara announced the interest of Turkey in renewing negotiations with Jerusalem on the use of Israeli natural gas and its transportation to Europe, the Israeli media reports.
The leader of Turkey told reporters that energy cooperation with Israel will become one of the main topics planned in mid-March this year of the visit to Turkey President Israel Yitzhaka Duke.
“We can use the Israeli natural gas in our country, and besides its use, we can also take part in joint efforts to transport it to Europe,” said Erdogan.
