Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed condolences to the Moroccan people in connection with the death of people as a result of a powerful earthquake.
“I wish you a speedy recovery to all the Moroccan people who suffered as a result of an earthquake in friendly and fraternal Morocco. May Allah have mercy on the dead! I wish the victims a speedy healing! We support the Moroccan brothers on this difficult day,” the Turkish leader wrote on social networks .
The number of those who died as a result of an earthquake in Morocco increased to 632, the Kingdom of Military District said.
According to the National Geophysical Institute of Morocco, the epicenter of the earthquake of magnitude 7 points was in the Marrakesh-El House region. The hearth lay at a depth of 8 km.
