The struggle with the global environmental crisis, expressed in climate change, a decrease in biodiversity and environmental pollution, requires international solidarity.
This was stated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, addressing the Istanbul Palace Dolmabakhche in a video conference mode to the forum participants on the topic “Big Economics in the Light of Energy and Climate”.
According to him, modern Turkey is not limited to steps to reduce carbon emissions into the atmosphere, but is fighting with other greenhouse gases that cause global warming.
“Until 2024, the Turkish strategy for a phased decrease in emissions into the atmosphere will be prepared, and the new law on the ecology will soon be submitted to the Turkish parliament,” the Turkish leader said.
The politician also noted that Turkey in 2024 will accept the 16th conference of the parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity.
