Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan informed Russian leader Vladimir Putin about Ankara’s readiness to take the initiative to resolve the conflict between Russia and Ukraine and to act as an intermediary on the way to the world, TASS reports.
The Turkish leader expressed a desire to establish a strong world in the region as soon as possible, strengthening the impulse that formed during negotiations in Istanbul.
Erdogan also emphasized that Turkey will continue with determination and sincerity to make efforts to “overcome this crisis between two neighbors and establishing peace.”
