Turkish shipyard today is among the leading shipbuilding centers in the world, which can build ships with the most advanced technologies. This was said by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at Iftar (Disagreement of Lent per month of Ramazan) with the participation of a group of young citizens of Turkey in the Istanbul district of Usküdar.
The head of state attracted attention to the recent commissioning of the flagship of the country’s Navy – TCG Anadolu landing, built on Istanbul shipyards.

According to him, the largest warship of the country is entirely a product of domestic shipyards.
Erdogan said that many countries of the world, including the United States and Pakistan, turn to the capabilities of the Turkish military shipyard today. “There are countries that are ready to order aircraft carriers and submarines in Turkey. The UK is ready for cooperation with the Turkish side on the construction of submarines,” continued Erdogan.
The Turkish leader attracted attention to the implementation of the megaproject of the creation of a domestic unmanned underwater apparatus.
“Technologies are constantly being developed, updated. It is like a sport – the desire for new planks,” said President Erdogan.
