Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Israeli President Itzhak Duke will visit Ankara in mid-March, transmit Turkish media.
According to him, the visit will be held against the background of mutual efforts to improve the once strong relationship between the two countries.
Note that the duke will be the first Israeli guest of such a high rank that visited Turkey for many years. The last such visit took place in 2013, when Minister Amir Pepper came to Turkey.
