President Recep Tayyip Erdogan phoned Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in connection with the Day of Remembrance, the press service of the President of Azerbaijan.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan Ilham Aliyev expressed his condolences to the dead in World War II, congratulated in connection with the Azerbaijani army won the second Karabakh war, said in the press-service reported.
Ilham Aliyev, in turn, praised the political and moral support given to the President of Turkey to Azerbaijan during the Second World War.
The heads of state expressed confidence that the friendly and fraternal relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey will continue to grow and mature in all directions, the report says.
