Erdogan planned negotiations with Putin this week

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is going to discuss with the Cabinet of Ministers of the country the details of the negotiations with Ukrainian colleague Vladimir Zelensky and the upcoming conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, TRT Haber TV channel.

The meeting will take place on August 22 in Ankara. On it, the head of state will discuss the war with the government to Ukraine and the execution of an agreement on the “grain corridor”.

Negotiations with the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky with the participation of the Secretary General of the UN Antoniu Guterrish Erdogan held on August 18 in Lviv, the meeting was closed. According to its results, Ukraine and Turkey signed an agreement on the restoration of the Ukrainian infrastructure destroyed due to hostilities. In addition, the parties agreed on the parameters of a possible mission of the IAE on ZAES. Then the Turkish president said that he plans to discuss a meeting with the Russian colleague, but he did not name the terms in which this will happen.
