Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan ratified an agreement on cooperation in the energy and mining areas, signed with Azerbaijan on February 25, 2020, reports RESMI Gazete.
The purpose of the signing of this agreement is to promote the development of bilateral scientific, technical, technological, legal, administrative and commercial cooperation between the parties in the field of energy and the mining industry, primarily in the field of renewable and clean sources of energy and energy efficiency, the organization of energy production.
Parties will cooperate in the field of renewable and clean energy, as well as energy efficiency. As part of the agreement, they must determine the possibilities of activity in this area and encourage authorized bodies and investors of both parties to maintain and develop projects in this area.
