Turkey does not ratify the entry into NATO Sweden and Finland until these countries fulfill the promises, said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Saturday.
“Until the promises are fulfilled by our country, we will not change our fundamental position. We carefully monitor whether Sweden and Finland fulfill their promises. And then, of course, our parliament will make a final decision,” – Erdogan’s words Western media cite.
At the moment, both countries of NATO were ratified by 28 out of 30. Only Turkey and Hungary did not do it.
