Erdogan spoke in vague on Turkey’s participation in Kabul airport

Earlier, a Reuters Agency with reference to sources in Turkey’s security authorities extended an Ankara refusal of the airport security obligation in Kabul.

Turkish journalists asked President Erdogan to comment on the current situation around the participation of the Turkish contingent in ensuring the security of the Kabul airport.

According to Erdogan, Ankara is building its plans in accordance with the “new realities in the field”, based on the negotiations on this issue.

He stressed that the provision of “security and peace of mind” of Turkish citizens in Afghanistan is a paramount task for Ankara.
