President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke for Ukraine’s membership in NATO on the results of a meeting in Istanbul, reports TASS.
“express support for the perspective of Ukraine’s membership in NATO, in particular its intentions to receive a plan of action in the near future,” says the joint declaration of the leaders of the two countries.
The text of the document also refers to to confirm the support of regional cooperation in the Black Sea region in order to ensure stability and safety within bilateral and multilateral mechanisms, including NATO.
