Erdogan told when Turkey will stop buying foreign vaccines

Turkey intends to continue purchasing foreign vaccines against the new coronavirus until it develops its own, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at a press conference in Ankara following a cabinet meeting.

“To date, about 11.5 million of our citizens have been vaccinated against coronavirus. Turkey will continue to purchase foreign vaccines until its own is ready for use,” the Turkish leader said.

He also said that the government decided to keep all the current restrictions in the country in the fight against coronavirus, and urged not to neglect them.
