“Turkey is determined to continue the intermediary efforts and steps to approach the world in Ukraine.” This was stated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, speaking at the Summit of the Crimean platform, the Anadola agency reports.
In his speech, the Turkish leader thanked the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky for the invitation to participate in the event, welcomed the heads of state and governments of countries that joined the platform summit.
According to him, Ankara fully supports and considers the idea of creating a platform aimed at an effective struggle for Crimea in peaceful ways.
“Turkey does not recognize the annexation of Crimea and considers this step illegal, which is openly states from the first day of events. The position of our country in Crimea is based not only on the letter of the law, but is also a fundamental reflection of Ankara’s moral position.
