Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephone conversation on Thursday with Japanese Prime Minister Kisida Fumio.
According to the Directorate of the Administration of the Administration of the President of Turkey, Erdogan thanked the Japanese prime minister for congratulations in connection with a re -election for the presidency.
The Turkish leader recalled that this year the 10th anniversary of the Turkish-Japanese strategic partnership will be celebrated, and the next year-100 years from the date of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Turkey.
Erdogan emphasized that Turkey intends to develop bilateral cooperation with Japan in a wide range of areas, including economics, energy, agriculture, education, defense, the fight against natural disasters, science and technology.
The Turkish leader expressed the desire for Japan to continue to support and express solidarity with Turkey, as was done during the period of destructive February earthquakes with epicenters in Kazakhmanmarash.
Erdogan also expressed confidence that Japan will make a more specific contribution to the struggle of Turkey with terrorism.
