Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in a conversation with Ukrainian colleague Vladimir Zelensky, announced the possibility of forming an international commission to investigate the causes of an explosion at the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric station.
The Directorate of the Delivery of the Administration of the President of Turkey reported that during a telephone conversation, Erdogan emphasized the readiness of the Turkish side for a feasible contribution to the initiative to create an international commission on the Kakhovsky reservoir.
According to the Turkish leader, the commission may include specialists from the conflicting parties, as well as the international community, including the UN and Turkey.
Erdogan noted that in this matter you can adhere to the method of dialogue similar to what took place in the issue of “grain corridor”.
The Turkish leader emphasized that against the backdrop of continuation of hostilities, it is impossible to prevent human victims, so it is very important to concentrate on the resumption of the negotiation process. He assured that Ankara would continue decisive efforts to approach the fair world.
