Erdogan: Turkey was faced with one of largest natural disasters

Turkey has encountered one of the largest natural disasters not only in its history, but also in the history of mankind, said President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

“The consequences of large -scale disasters felt 13.5 million inhabitants of ten provinces of Turkey. Underground tremors were felt in the territory of 500 km. Unfortunately, large -scale destruction took place,” Anadolu quotes the word of the Turkish leader.

Erdogan expressed confidence that thanks to the support of the people, the country in a short time will be able to eliminate the consequences of this disaster. The head of state recalled that more than a hundred countries of the world have made statements in support of Turkey.
