The head of state added that during the visit, the parties will discuss the prospects for the resumption of the agreement on the Black Sea Grain initiative.
According to him, the message to the world following the meeting of the leaders of Turkey and the Russian Federation will be very important, first of all, “regarding the step in the poorly developed African countries.”
President Erdogan also pointed out the significance of the heads of the Central Bank of Turkey and the Russian Federation planned as part of the meeting of the heads of the Central Bank and the Russian Federation in terms of taking a step towards the transition to mutual calculations in the national currency.
Russian President Putin, in turn, noted that Ankara and Moscow will soon take important steps in both gas and other areas.
The Russian leader also stated that the pace of development of relations between Ankara and Moscow is preserved.
He said that the leaders of Turkey and the Russian Federation will discuss the Ukrainian crisis and grain agreement. “The Russian side is open to these negotiations,” he said.
The President of the Russian Federation expressed hope for a quick completion of negotiations on the creation of a gas hub in Turkey.
