Türkiye does not turn away from the West, but this does not mean that it will neglect the development of relations of the East.
This was stated by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, speaking at the awards ceremony for reaching foreign contracting services.
“There is nothing more natural than strengthening cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region and the Indian Ocean zone, where there are 3 of the 5 largest economies in the world,” said the Turkish leader.
Speaking about the situation in the national economy, the Head of State noted that Turkey ranks second in the world after China in terms of the number of contractors, and is included in the top 8 countries in terms of income in this industry.
The president said that the volume of national income of Turkey for the first time in the history of the country exceeded 1.1 trillion dollars.
