Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan emphasized that significant progress has been achieved in normalizing relations between Turkey and Armenia without preliminary conditions, and expressed sincere support for the continuation of the dialogue process.
According to the statement of the Communications Department of the Administration of the President of Turkey, President Erdogan accepted the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikola Pashinyan in Turkevi in the Nah York, where he is to participate in the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.
During the meeting, issues of normalizing relations between Turkey and Armenia and peaceful processes between Armenia and Azerbaijan were discussed.
President Erdogan emphasized that Turkey supports the establishment of a durable world between Azerbaijan and Armenia and the creation of a strong friendship between the two countries in a new era, and that efforts to promote this continue.
Erdogan also noted that Türkiye and Armenia have reached significant progress in normalizing relations without preliminary conditions, and expressed sincere support to the continuation of the dialogue process.
