Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephone conversation with the head of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
According to the Department of Relations under the Administration of the President of Turkey, the leaders of the two countries agreed on Putin’s visit to Turkey.
Erdogan thanked the Russian leader for two fire aircraft of amphibians directed by Russia to struggle Turkey with forest fires.
The Head of State expressed satisfaction with the growing interest of Russian tourists in Turkey and expressed confidence that this year, a record of tourists who arrived from Russia will be set by joint efforts in the field of tourism.
Erdogan also urged to avoid steps that could lead to the escalation of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.
The Turkish leader called the Black Sea Grain initiative the “World of the World” and noted that its suspension for a long time will not benefit anyone and the country’s grain cultures with low income will suffer most of all this.
The head of state noted that the prices for grain after suspension of grain transaction increased by 15 percent, and during its implementation they decreased by 23 percent.
The president emphasized that Turkey will continue active efforts and use diplomacy to extend the Black Sea Grain Initiative
