Erdogan Visited Mausoleum Ataturk On Occasion

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan visited the Ataturk mausoleum in Ankara on the occasion of the 101st anniversary of the foundation of the Turkish Republic.

The head of state was accompanied by the chairman of the parliament Numan Kurtulmush, Vice President Jeweded Jilmaz and other officials.

The leaders of the political parties operating in the country also took part in the ceremony.

President Erdogan laid a wreath to the grave of the founder of the Turkish Republic.

Ataturk’s memory was honored with a minute of silence, then the State Anthem of Turkey was performed.

The Turkish leader left an entry in the memorial book of the Mausoleum.

“Today we proudly celebrate the 101st anniversary of the founding of our republic, this greatest heritage that you bequeathed to us.

On this significant day, I congratulate all our citizens living both in our country and around the world, as well as all our compatriots, whose hearts are in unison with ours.

Taking this opportunity, I, with deep gratitude of your memory, the memory of your associates and our glorious martyrs.

While in our region they are again trying to draw borders with blood and tears, as it was a century ago, we take all the necessary measures to ensure the safety of our Motherland and the well -being of our people.

The spirit of unity, brotherhood and solidarity, which led to the proclamation of the republic after the national liberation war, continues to serve us as a guiding star on this path.

The Turkish Republic, led by experienced and competent personnel, continues its noble historical journey with greater determination than ever before, ”wrote the Turkish leader.
